With growingly intense competition in the region and an ageing population accompanied by low fertility rate in Hong Kong, pension offering has become a crucial element in staff benefits package. Ka Shi possesses extensive banking and finance experience which includes serving as executives of several major international banks in both Hong Kong and New York in investment banking; project finance; global investment, trust and custody services; risk management and compliance; banking and securities operations for many years.
Apart from her current roles as Chairman of the Hong Kong Retirement Schemes Association and Chairman of the Retirement Schemes Sub-committee of the Hong Kong Trustees' Association, she also serves on statutory / advisory bodies including the MPFA, SFC, CIIF, Women's Commission and Hospital Authority.
